Here’s a project I really enjoyed working on: Their Skeletons Speak by Sally M. Walker. The idea here was to let the shape of the title words finish the image of the skull, much as research finishes (or helps to finish) the story of Kennewick Man. This cover and the interior pages were an exercise in simplicity for me, letting the bones that tell the story take front & center.
